Day 1: Fly to San Francisco
Arrive into San Francisco and check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the great city of San Francisco.
Day 2-3: San Francisco
You get two full days to spend sightseeing around San Francisco. Why not take the opportunity to explore this fantastic city by jumping on the famous San Francisco trams or just walk around the city?! Day 4: Drive onto Napa
Collect your campervan from San Francisco and drive onto Napa. Once you have checked into your campsite, spend the rest of your day exploring at leisure.
Day 5: Napa
This is your full day stay in Napa Valley, which gives you the chance to experience the local wineries, restaurants and golf. Napa Valley is one of the north’s premier wine and food destinations. The region is home to more than 125 exciting restaurants, awarded more Michelin Stars per capita than any other wine region in the world. Here is where the farm-to-table culinary scene meets the creativity of some of the world’s best chefs, resulting in a wide range of culinary adventures. Day 6: Napa to Lake Tahoe
Drive from Napa onto Lake Tahoe. When you arrive at Lake Tahoe, you can check into your campsite and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 7: Lake Tahoe
The largest alpine lake in North America, Lake Tahoe is as famous for its clear, blue water as its leisure activities. In winter, visitors enjoy the region’s many ski resorts, and in summer, the lake turns into a haven for boaters and other water-sport enthusiasts. Year round, Lake Tahoe is perfect for short, three-day jaunts, with plenty to occupy your visit.
Day 8: Lake Tahoe to Yosemite
Depart Lake Tahoe for Yosemite, once you arrive you can check into your campsite and explore the local area.
Day 9: Yosemite
Spend the day exploring the Yosemite National Park. There are numerous activities available from hiking trails, climbing, mountain biking or you can even join on of the park ranger guided tours.
Day 10: Yosemite to Monterey
Today you will continue on to Monterey. When you have arrived check into your campsite for the night and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 11: Monterey
This is you full day to explore Monterey and what it has to offer. The charming town has two distinct landmarks - Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row, both immortalised by novelist, John Steinbeck. These historic spots are well worth a visit and you should check out the quirky shops, seafood restaurants, art galleries and the pier and also take a whale watching tour around the picturesque bay.
Day 12: Monterey to Santa Barbara
Perhaps begin the day with stunning drive further down the coast, offering spectacular views of the rugged California coast.
Day 13: Santa Barbara to Los Angeles
Drive the short distance from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles. Once you arrive in Los Angeles make your own way to your Downtown Hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore the metropolis that is Los Angeles.
Day 14: Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California’s largest city has a huge variety of shops, restaurants, nightlife as well as popular galleries, theatres and sporting venues. Why not take a trip to Beverly Hills and Hollywood today to sample the shopping and see how the rich and famous live. You could even spend some of the day at one of the famous LA beaches of Venice or Santa Monica or instead take a leisurely stroll around the many museums and galleries.
Day 15: Fly to London
Make your way back to Los Angeles International Airport, and check-in for your overnight flight back to the UK.
Day 16: Arrive back into the UK
