May 19th - Sailors & Sirens Swing
We’re starting off our summer burlesque sail series with a romantic Jazz Age nautical night featuring live performances by the beautiful Lady Alchemy, tap sensation Gin Minsky, MC extraordinaire Albert Cadabra and dance music of the 1920s, 30s and 40s DJ Vavavoon for the hoofers on board.
July 7th - Manhattan Nights 1976
The United States Bicentennial in 1976 celebrated America’s 200th birthday, and we’ve decided to party like it’s Independence Day 1976 on this sizzling, star-spangled patriotic sail, which will take us up close and personal with Lady Liberty herself. Never mind that it’s July 7th. Just get ready to get down.
August 6th - Night of the Ye-ye Girl / 60s Mod
It’s impossible to resist the underlying naughtiness of the 60s French ye-ye girl, the theme of our August burlesque cruise, featuring burlesque beat girls Rosie Cheeks, Jenny Rocha, Lil Miss Lixx and our host Albert Cadabra, with DJ Saiko Mikan spinning the best of French and Japanese ye-ye, British pop, and ‘60s garage rock. Come dance the night away with a head full of teenage dreams and innocence that begs to be corrupted.
September 21st *Rescheduled Date* - Cat’s Pajamas
We think you’re the cat’s pajamas, and that’s why we’ve programmed this special sail, where the dress code is either “cat” or “pajamas” -- preferably both. So slip into something a little more comfortable - vintage or modern - and join us for a sail by starlight as the summer heats up!
October 3rd - Jazz Age Blue Moon Sail
Closing our burlesque sail series is a final, romantic Jazz Age sail by moonlight, featuring burlesque by Hazel Honeysuckle, Lily Faye, and Odette Coquette, with Master of Ceremonies Bastard Keith, and dance music from the 1930s and 40s DJ Vavavoon. We know just what you’re there for.. so get out, get under the moon!
