Full Day Good Morning Hanoi Tour, £109 per person - You will start this tour with a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, a gathering place for the residents of Hanoi doing their morning exercise. You can join in on the activity such as Tai Chi. Afterwards; you will enjoy a traditional local breakfast of “Pho” followed by a Vietnamese coffee at a roof-top café in the Old Quarter. The guide will take you to the family-run restaurant for a cooking class. First step will be a visit in a lively local market Hang Be Market by cyclo to learn about local cooking ingredients. At the restaurant, the chef will teach you to cook some special Vietnamese dishes. After a half-day morning session, you enjoy a delicious feast of the dishes you created. In the end, you will head back to your hotel by a private vehicle.
Museum of Hanoi, £36 per person - The Ethnology Museum is a newly opened museum exhibiting history and culture of ethnic minorities living in Vietnam. Detailed explanations are given in Vietnamese, English, and French. The Fine Art Museum is where you can see some very intricate sculptures, paintings, lacquer ware, ceramics and other traditional Vietnamese fine arts. Enjoy a 15 km bike ride towards Dong Ho village away from the hustle of daily traffic. Experience real rural life as you pass through unspoiled villages, verdant rice fields and historic pagodas. See the scenery that you could not see anywhere else in Vietnam. We turn off from the main road just outside the city limits of Hanoi and on to rural roads, leaving the bustle and hassles of crowded city streets behind us. The boat trip is designed to show you the beautiful islands surrounding Nha Trang. Before boarding the boat, you will be taken to Cham Po Nagar Towers which is one of the best architectures of Cham people. After viewing the Cham Po Nagar Towers, start the boat trip up to the river. Enjoy the beautiful scenery that unfolds along the banks. See the very old and ancient house with more than 200 years, try different fruits in seasons and see the handicraft workshops, village markets, the Vietnamese people in their natural scenery and daily life. Day 1 London – Ho Chi Minh
Fly overnight from the UK to Ho Chi Minh with Vietnam Airlines.
Day 2 Ho Chi Minh
Arrive in the morning in to Ho Chi Minh Airport. You will be met and transferred to your city hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing after your flight from the UK.
Day 3 Ho Chi Minh
Today will be spent on your FREE Cai be Floating Market and Vinh Long Tour. The floating markets in the Mekong Delta are authentic and lively. Local people trade and bargain vigorously in this fascinating and aesthetic chaos. You will get off the boat onto an island to visit a pop-rice making family, a local farmer’s house, and orchard and bonsai garden. Lunch is served at a local house on one of the Islands. Then you will continue with the boat to Vinh Long, a prosperous city in the Mekong Delta and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, passing the newly constructed My Thuan Suspension Bridge. This full day trip last’s for approximately 10 hours.
Day 4 Ho Chi Minh City
Today is a full day to explore more of Ho Chi Minh City at your own pace. There are many sights worth visiting during your time in Ho Chi Minh and these include Cholon and Binh Tay Markets, Thien Hau Temple and Nha Rong Wharf, Chinatown, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post office, Opera house and downtown Saigon.
Day 5 Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang
This morning you’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred to Ho Chi Minh City airport to catch your short internal flight to Nha Trang where you’ll then be met and transferred to your hotel. Once you have checked-in to your Nha Trang hotel the rest of the day is spent at your leisure.
Day 6 – 10 Nha Trang
Your days at leisure can be spent by simply relaxing on the beach or sunbathing at the hotel’s pool or exploring the many sights of the area. Why not visit the Long Son Pagoda or the Po Nagar Towers or make a visit to the Nha Trang Cathedral. You can also take a variety of boat trips from Nha Trang to the many offshore islands that offer some of the best diving opportunities in the whole of Vietnam. You can also take a trip to the Thap Ba Hot Spring Center where you can sit in a wooden bathtub full of hot thermal mud. The centre also has private mineral baths and a large outdoor heated swimming pool complete with thermal waterfalls.
Day 11 Nha Trang – London
There is some more free time today before you are collected from your hotel and taken to Nha Trang airport for your overnight flight home to London via Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi.
Day 12 London
Arrive back in the UK after enjoying what was hopefully a fantastic holiday!
