Our tour in Dublin showcase whiskey’s humble beginnings, where this foul tasting liquid eased the woes of a troubled and poor nation. Known in Gaelic as ‘Uisca Beatha’, over time it was translated to whiskey as it is known today.
Savor the captivating anecdotes by our entertaining story tellers as they bring you through this magical tale, never before recounted in such detail. At the end of your tour there’s a generous whiskey tasting led by one of our Master Whiskey Tasters where you will taste three excellent Irish whiskeys and learn the subtle differences between each discovering the flavors locked inside. A memorable finish to one of the most unique tours in Dublin.
Your VIP upgrade will see you sampling a fourth aged Irish whiskey as part of your tasting experience. Being aged for a minimum of 10 years you will discover the difference in a smoother, richer tasting whiskey. You will also take home a unique Irish Whiskey Museum souvenir as a lasting memory of your visit with us.
Standard Tour - Fully guided English tour, Full tasting experience sampling three of Ireland's finest whiskeys, enjoy our contemporary Café bar and take in the views of College Green and Trinity College, Visit five unique rooms set within a Gothic revival style Edwardian building.
VIP Tour - includes the Standard Tour plus an extra tasting of a premium aged Irish whiskey which has been matured for a minimum of 10 years, a unique Irish Whiskey Museum souvenir, to remember your experience with us.
Hours of operation
Available daily; Departs every 30 minutes (depending on season) starting at 9:30am, last tour departs at 7:00pm.
Museum is closed December 25.

Museum is located at 119 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. You will find this exciting visitor attraction next door to the long established James Fox's Cigar shop, across from the main entrance of Trinity College. We are located in a beautiful building spread over 3 floors.
