Kuala Selangor Fireflies Phenomena - Private Tour, £90 per person - Escape from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur as you drive to the rural town of Kuala Selangor. The pleasant journey winds through old rubber and palm oil plantations, passing shanty-looking towns and several Malay villages. Kuala Selangor is renowned for its historic past and natural heritage of Mangrove forest and bird sanctuary, but it is the firefly phenomena for which the town is known best. Fireflies can only be seen in two locations around the world - the other being along the Amazon River in Brazil – and the site along the Selangor River is particularly special because it is easily accessible.
A Heavenly Dining Experience at Kuala Lumpur Tower, £69 per person - Your evening starts with a stroll in Kuala Lumpur's famous Central Market, a centre for Malaysian handicrafts and arts. Work up an appetite as you explore the countless stalls before proceeding to the imposing Kuala Lumpur Tower. One of the jewels in the city’s skyline, the tower stands 421 meters tall and ranks as the tallest tower in Asia. Kuala Lumpur City Tour, £55 per person - A city tour is the ideal way for first time visitors and those with limited time in Kuala Lumpur to get a flavour for this amazing city and sample some of her leading attractions. Photo stops at the King’s Palace, a symbol of Malaysian sovereignty, the Independence Square and Petronas Twin-Tower - still the tallest twin-tower in the world! Visit the National Museum and drive pass the Lake Gardens, view National Monument, National Mosque, and the Old Railway Station. Batu Caves & Temple Tour, £40 per person - This tour covers two unique and attractive places of worship in outskirt Kuala Lumpur. First is the spectacular Tian Hou Chinese Temple. This striking, 6-tier temple is dedicated to the Goddess Tian Hou (the Heavenly Mother) and depicts elements of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. The other is the Batu Caves - a massive lime-stone outcrop with its interior home to a Hindu shrine lined with different deities. The shrine is set deep inside the high caverns which one has to climb 272 steps to reach. On the way back, visit a local Malaysian Batik centre to see how the fabric is being designed and printed.
Nature in the City - Private Tour, £50 per person - Visit the living nature theme parks in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city. Begin with the Bird Park where you will witness at close proximity how approximately 600 birds of 60 local and foreign species adapting to a semi-natural, man-made environment. Continue to the colourful and beautifully landscaped Butterfly Park where thousands of butterflies from 120 species roam freely in a simulated natural rainforest environment. Last stop is the Orchid & Hibiscus Garden, home to over 3,000 orchid species from around the world, with 800 from Malaysia alone, and more than 2,000 varieties of hibiscus, many of which are prize winning hybrids.
Historical Malacca from Kuala Lumpur, £110 per person - A scenic 2-hour drive south of Kuala Lumpur takes you to Malacca, the oldest trading port in Malaysia which had undergone Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Visit Stadhuys or the Dutch Square and take a walk up St. Paul’s Hill for a panoramic view of the Malacca Straits and the old town of Bandar Hilir. At the top is the ruin of St. Paul’s Church, lined by 17th Century Dutch tombstones. Stop for a typical ‘Nyonya’ lunch before taking a stroll through the Antiques Row at Jonker Street. Other visits include the famous Portuguese Fort de Santiago and Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese temple inMalaysia. If time permitting, stop for a quick visit to Morten Malay Village before return journey.
A Glimpse of the Rainforest - Private Tour, £57 per person - Visit the Forest Reserve Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) which offers visitors the opportunity of understanding the rainforest ecosystem. Walk through shady nature trails and visit arboretums, among them the Dipte Rocarp, a collection centre of living trees for botanical reference. The Bambusetum displays almost 30 species of local bamboo. Another highlight is the Canopy Walk above the treetops, subject to accessibility at the time of visit. The canopy is closed every Monday and Friday.
Langkawi Mangrove Forest & Eagle Watching, £50 per person - This unique opportunity to see the island’s vast array of natural wonders starts at a Tanjung Rhu fishing village where you board your boat for a wonderful cruise around the islands. Pass through thick mangrove forest fringed by limestone caves and hidden canyons and look out for the abundant wildlife that gathers along the coastal waters including kingfishers, monitor lizards, monkeys and mud crabs. Head out of the mangroves and visit a local fish farm, before the undoubted highlight of the day. Enjoy the exceptional sight of the protected white-headed sea eagles swooping down as they are fed fish, a moment you will not want to miss with your camera! There is one final stop to view a cave system that is home to millions of bats before a gentle cruise back to Tanjung Rhu past the scenic coastal areas of the northern islands. Langkawi Island Hopping Tour, £44 per person - This charming island hopping tour starts with a visit to the legendary Island of Pulau Dayang Bunting, more commonly known as the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden Island- its waters are believed to have magical effects on infertile women. As you cruise between small islands, enjoy views of dramatic sea cliffs covered in lush jungle and witness the spectacular sight of eagles dipping for fish and the crab-eating monkeys foraging for their favourite food. At Pulau Beras Basah you will discover paradise tropical beaches and there is plenty of free time take a dip in the crystal clear water or simply relax on the white sand of the uninhabited beach. Langkawi Island Sunset Cruise, £69 per person - Enjoy the delights of evening cruising on this sunset cruise aboard a beautiful sailing yacht. With a cocktail in your hand, watch the sun slowly set from the deck of your luxury boat and savour the views of the many different islands of Langkawi. If you are lucky you may also spot flying fish, sea eagles and dolphins. This relaxing cruise lasts around two and a half hours giving plenty of time to bask in the setting sun, enjoy the salt water jacuzzi and you have the choice of either cocktails only or enjoy a sumptuous barbecue dinner with drinks.
Underwater World & Crocodile Farm, £46 per person - A unique opportunity to see a huge collection of the world's largest crocodiles. Langkawi's Crocodile farm is the home to over one thousand ‘Crocodylus Porosus’ crocodiles and here you can observe and photograph crocodiles and alligators as the play and feed in a controlled environment that closely resembles their natural habitat. The farm is registered with the Convention on International Trade and Endangered Species (CITES) and has divided its ponds to satisfy a whole range of common fascinations of these reptiles. Among them are the Breeding Pond, Bridge Pond, Feeding Pond, Jumping Pond and Show Pond. The tour then continues to the brilliant Underwater World to see an exquisite array of marine life as you walk through the mesmerizing underwater tunnel. Other attractions include an Antartic exhibit with underwater viewing where you see swimming penguins, a freshwater fish section, the Koi Pond and a coral reef.

Day 1 London - Langkawi
Fly overnight from London to Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines.
Day 2 Langkawi
Arrive at Langkawi airport and join your private transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax and unwind after your flight from the UK.
Day 3 Langkawi
A full day at leisure to relax on the beach or take advantage of the spa.
Day 4 Langkawi
This morning you’ll be collected from your hotel to join your FREE Sailing in the Tropics boat trip. An adventure cruise with lots of fun things to do. Highlights include learning to sail, caves and mangrove jungle, boom netting, fishing, buffet lunch, swimming and many more. This is the ultimate blend of relaxation and activity. It doesn’t matter whether you have a taste for pulling on ropes and helping to set sail, taking the helm or would prefer to while away a lazy day on deck with a good book. The choice is entirely yours. Please note that sailing is subject to sea and wind conditions. This trip includes buffet lunch on board or at the beach with free-flow of beverages.
Day 5 – 8 Langkawi
The remainder of your stay in Langkawi is free for you to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility or if you want to explore then you could take an Eagle watching trip, go Island hoping or visit the underwater world and crocodile farm.
Day 9 Langkawi - Kuala Lumpur
This morning you’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred back to Langkawi for your flight to Kuala Lumpur. On arrival you’ll be met and taken by private transfer to your Kuala Lumpur hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Day 10 Kuala Lumpur
This morning is at your leisure before joining your FREE Batu Caves & Temple Tour at approximately 1.30pm. Day 12 Kuala Lumpur – London
This morning you’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred to Kuala Lumpur airport for your direct flight home to London.
