Highlights / General details
Tango Porteño recreates the golden age of the forties, a time unquestionably known as the reign of the tango, the great Argentinean passion. Travel through time to the glory days of Buenos Aires when tango was lived and breathed in every corner of the city. During this magical decade, the great orchestras of Canaro, Piazzolla, De Caro, Biagi, De Angelis, D’Agostino, and of course Troilo and Pugliesse, developed their full potential in a wholesome but demanding rivalry, challenging each other at the Chanteclair, Marabú, Tabarís and many others ballrooms. Enjoy this marvelous space where many stories were born.
